[Cialug] Larry Ellison is posturing again. Everyone watch out!

Sounds good to me!  I don't need all the Linux stuff.  I just need a basic
set of network functions and the all the stuff to run Java, Mono, PHP,
PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.  If I can get all of that prepackaged, I'll
be a happy camper.

Solaris is UNIX System V with BSD extensions/stuff thrown in.

If it had all of the Linux stuff in it, then it would be called "Linux" not
Solaris.

You can easily install lots of prepackaged GNU stuff.  Just get your
packages from http://www.sunfreeware.com or get the source and compile it.
