[Cialug] nvidia on 2.6.13+ kernels

Building a Myth box from scratch with Gentoo.  Turns out nvidia support 
is a tad bit broken in 2.6.13 or older kernels.  The fix for me was:

echo "/sbin/NVmakedevices.sh 1>&2" >> /etc/conf.d/local.start

Then running it manually to avoid a reboot.  Took me forever to find it, 
hope this will avoid someone else going through this hell.

Oh, and FWIW, you can't compile lirc 0.7.2 with 2.6.14 kernel.  .13 
kernels are fine.
