[Cialug] Question: Distro with auto wireless configuration?

Most of the newer "user friendly" distrubutions have nice gui network 
configurators during the install script. Mandrake / Mandrivia does a 
nice job of this.

Theron hit the nail on the head: it really depends on what card you 
have. None of them will work unless you have a native driver supported 
card. There are a lot of other options like ndis wrapper, or loading the 
firmware from the Windows driver like the acx100 driver does, but those 
probably won't happen during install.
