[Cialug] https doesn't work with IE

Is it a virtual host or does it fall on a real IP address?  

Is the browser going through a proxy, is http 1.1 enabled?  Not that
changing the browser settings is going to help everyone going to the site,
but it might lead to determining what is wrong.

I've got a https site that works fine in FF 1.0.5, Opera, and NN4.8, but 
doesn't work with IE.  I found a couple of references that this can 
break with mod_rewrite, but I'm not doing that

Has anyone seen this before?
