Single Lens Reflex
It's a type of camera where you are actually looking out the main lens 
when looking out the viewfinder, which gives a more accurate 
representation of what will get shot than those with separate viewers. 
It's also used sometimes to distinguish more "pro" cameras from, soy 
snapshot cameras. Usually an SLR camera gives you the ability to change 
lenses and alter settings very finely. See:
