Sure, like a www.crystalfontz.com or www.matrixorbital.com. Just search for 
serial or usb lcd display.
I've never seen one give error messages though. Are these msgs redirected 
from software, or are they from the board?
Anyone: Are there boards that will pipe error (POST or otherwise) msgs to a 
serial port or usb device?
