I've used LiveJournal service and that one is pretty nice.  The only
one that I've used on my own (without subscribing to another service
like LJ) is Movable Type (http://www.sixapart.com/movabletype).  It's
easy to setup and has some great features, though requires a bit more
technically knowlege in the customization areas.
