It's also reprehensible to install, in my opinion.  At least in
the way that's been described in this thread.

I was going to let mention of this pass, but I just saw in one
of my inboxes one of those "you have sent us a virus" messages,
which are close cousins to TMDA.  

It's bad enough that spammers send spam and that we have to deal
with it.  But it's even worse for people who should know better
to end up generating even MORE bogus email traffic.  It's even
worse to in turn go on to spam yourself presumably innocent
third parties who have simply had the bad fortune of their email
address being forged in a virus, trojan, or spam From: line.

We're supposed to be the good guys, folks.  I mean, sure, you're
just trying to do a job, but so are spammers, and we don't
accept that excuse from them, do we?

Do the right thing, please.
