[Cialug] Open source for Crystal Report???

You may still use the Crystal Reports. Are the charts and graphs generated
dynamically, on-the-fly or are they created on a schedule and stored
somehow?

Either way php or perl (among others) can be used to make a request from the
server and pull down the data or a report and return it to the public.
Methods could include the use of SOAP, FTP, and HTTP among others.

Using Linux is less like moving to Japan and more like moving to Quebec.
Things are culturally similar, but just different enough to keep reminding
you you are in another country. Whatever method you are using to get the
data now probably has a Linux Analog.

We do have a highly skilled Unix person who is working on Linux now.
Crystal Reports is being used to make a chart with data from an Oracle
database. IIS server connects to a CR Server that links to a
production database to create charts and graphs.
