[Cialug] Mandrake 10.1 - nVidia help

If any of you are installing Mandrake 10.1 and want to use the binary 
nVidia driver - you must first run an update (not sure if it was xorg or 
the kernel that did it). When you try to install the binary driver, it 
fails on the original distribution. After you do an update, it works fine.

Not too suprising, considering that this is their first outing after 
switching from XFree86 to xorg. Other than that it's been working really 
well.

p.s. There is a new version of the nVidia driver available within the 
last week. Mostly just adds support for the newest cards - i.e. 6600's 
and 6800's.
