[Cialug] Why does Bryan Baker crash my kmail?

I noticed from your headers that you're running 1.5.4.
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68714 was reported specifically for
that version and specifically names s/mime from Apple Mail (my client)
as the problem. Looks like they resolved it in KDE 3.3:

------- Additional Comment #5 From Till Adam 2004-07-17 22:41 -------
None of the four messages crashes the current development version of
KMail which will be part of KDE 3.3, so I guess we can safely consider
this fixed. Please reopen if you still encounter this bug with KDE 3.3
or one of the betas. Thanks for taking the time to report this.

Looks like a workaround is to disable s/mime in kmail.

Thunderbird is the spun-off email component of the Mozilla suite. It's
a good client, and what I use on other platforms (Win/Lin) for a gui
client. (Well, I use the full Moz)
