Blackdog device

It has a fingerprint analyzer built-in, so no need to remember passwords. When plugging into an XP box, it added an Ethernet device and got an IP address. You can then ssh into it. It will also start an Xming X-Server. Comes with full Firefox Deer Park, GAIM, Pathetic Writer editor. For extra storage, there's a built in SD card slot. It does not take over your machine, even though the web site alludes to that fact. Possible uses:

  • Scan a machine “off-line” for possible viruses, spyware, etc.
  • Carry files back and forth.
  • Run programs without leaving tracks, because the program is running on Blackdog.
