Hardware

There are numerous places in the Des Moines metro area where you can get relatively inexpensive hardware:

Internet Access

Try these places for high speed Internet. Bear in mind that cable is shared, but DSL may not be available everywhere.

CoLocation

it seemed to me to be very physically secure (they use a retinal scanner for access control on the main door) and well appointed...if you are looking for rackspace there you may want to talk to Jelecos Systems, I know they do a lot of work there.
